Virtual Clinic Program

From a Passing Siding to a Busy Yard
Presented by Andy Keeney

This clinic shares how a simple passing siding at Cedar Hill evolved into a busy freight yard on the Nashville Road—a triple-deck proto-freelance railroad running from the Great Lakes to the Gulf. The session explores the planning, decisions, and operational thinking behind the railroad’s development.

About the Presenter

Andy Keeney has been a lifelong model railroader who began building his dream layout, the Nashville Road, in his mid-50s after a long career in both the military and law enforcement. His experience brings a practical and engaging perspective to layout design and operations.

We encourage all members to attend this important annual meeting and enjoy what promises to be an engaging and insightful clinic.

We look forward to seeing you there.
