LDSIG NMRA 2026 Convention Update

The Layout Design SIG will not be participating in the 2026 NMRA National Convention in Chattanooga. After careful consideration, it became clear that we were unable to develop and coordinate an LDSIG program that would meet the expectations of our members and convention attendees within the available timeframe.

This decision applies only to this year’s event and does not reflect a change in our commitment to future NMRA conventions. We are actively developing a strong LDSIG presence for the St. Louis RPM meet in July and look forward to working closely with the NMRA team on plans for the 2027 convention in Tacoma.

Additional details about the St. Louis RPM program will be shared soon on the LDSIG website and through our Facebook and Groups.io channels.

The Chattanooga convention will still offer its own layout tours and programming, and we expect many LDSIG members will attend. More information about the convention is available at:
